Technical requirements for delivery

The following specifications must be noted in order to ensure optimum impregnation quality:

  • Maximum timber length:
    • Vessel 1 (olive): 12.5 m
    • Vessel 2 (brown & dark): 14 m
  • Maximum bundle cross-section: 105 x 105 cm
  • Battening: Each row with battens approx. every 5 cm
  • Wood: Clean, sorted and free of metal parts
  • Wood moisture content: According to specifications for pressure vessel processes

We will send you a brief shipping approval before your wood is accepted for impregnation. Every batch is clearly labelled and recorded in our system upon arrival at our premises. We will then inform you of the expected collection date.

We will confirm the final collection date by telephone or email as soon as the entire quantity has been treated and fixed. Please collect the finished wood promptly to ensure that logistics proceed smoothly.

The entire impregnation process, including drying and fixing, takes an average of around five days between delivery and collection.
